The Box of Abundance holds a fairly random mixture of approximately shirt-weight cottonish fabrics from (I think) the middle 1980's. My - self-imposed - challenge is to use it to make quilts for a big patchwork group's community quilt donation programme.
So far:
- Black Abundance - a mixture of horrible geometric prints of primary colours on white. Randomly chopped and reassembled with a little red and a lot of black. Given!
- Navy Abundance - 5 navy prints sashed in red. Quilted with a wonky clamshell pattern. Given!
Next up: youthful abundance. or perhaps stepping to heaven.
24 May 2012 (when did that happen?)
